Our Process

Our Process

Check out the video below!

1. Select Wood Type

There is a large variety of wood to select from. Different wood types create different types of lichtenburg lines when burned.  Painted base options available also!

4. Apply Epoxy / Resin

This step is how the lichtenburg lines obtain their stunning & signature color! This is also where the pieces gain their lusterous shine!

2. Select Wood Style

We have electrocuted various wooden items. Ranging from simple boards to table tops. We are able to apply are electroctuion methods to unique items such as pool cues and knife blade handles.

5. Let Dry & We Refine

After the resin & epoxy are applied we go through a refinement process to ensure that you recieve a quality piece!

3. Electrocute Wood

*See warning information below.

In this step we utilize safety measures that have been in use since the beginning. The wood obtains the lichtenburg lines here!

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

People DIE doing this stuff when they don’t know what they are working with. It’s extremely DANGEROUS and you should not try this at home. People often ask if I get shocked doing this. The answer is NO! If I did, I wouldn’t be alive! It would be 2 amps and 10,000 volts of electricity running through my body, which is enough to fry a Jurassic Park dinosaur!

The Electrocution

Featured Project

Featured below is a pine table round top stained blue and electrocuted. The round was then cleaned, sanded, and refined. From there we are able to apply resin. Orange resin was mixed here and poured carefully into the lichtenburg lines. After the resin cures we are then able to apply the epoxy to protect and give the final piece its lusterous finish!
